Turn Google searches into booked jobs.

More customers choose you over the business down the street, and fewer get away because you were busy working.

Example of what you get: an up-to-date Google listing, your website on a phone with a tap-to-call button, and a text that follows up with a caller you missed.

The problem

Stop losing customers
between
the search
and the call.

Local businesses quietly lose customers in three places: a Google listing that's out of date, a website that's hard to use on a phone, and calls that go unanswered while you're busy working.

I work with auto shops, HVAC, plumbers, contractors and other local service businesses around the Salt Lake Valley.

The path a customer takes to book with you, and the three places they can leave for a competitor.
  1. They search for a business nearby
  2. They check your Google listingLeak: Wrong hours or missing services
  3. They open your websiteLeak: Slow, or no tap-to-call
  4. They call youLeak: It rings out
  5. They book with you

Every leak sends a customer to the competitor down the street

What I do

Three fixes. Pick one or all three.

Each service plugs one leak. Start with the one that's costing you most, or bundle them. Nothing about how you run your business has to change.

What stays yours

I fix the leaks without taking anything over. Your Google listing, your website and your phone number always stay yours.

  • Your Google listing

You stay the owner. I'm added as a manager only.

  • Your website and its content

Your name, your brand, your words and photos.

  • Your phone number

The same number on your sign, truck and cards, on the phones you already use.

The free audit

How the free audit works

Three checks, done by me while you keep working.

  1. Check 1: I find you on Google, the way a customer would.

Is your listing complete, accurate and current?

  2. Check 2: I open your website.

Does it look current, work well on a phone and make it easy to call?

  3. Check 3: I call you, from your Google listing or website, at a busy time.

Does someone pick up, and what happens if not?

  4. Then: You get a short, simple summary

What I found, where customers may be slipping away, and what I'd fix first, plus a sample of what your homepage could look like.

Common questions

Straight answers

The things business owners ask first. Don't see yours? Ask it in the audit request and I'll answer it directly.

Who owns my Google listing?

You do, and you stay the owner. I'm added as a manager only, so I can keep your hours and services up to date. You can remove me whenever you like.

Who keeps my website content?

You do. Your business name, your brand, your words and your photos stay yours.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and the phones you use today. Your phone still rings first, every time. Missed-call capture uses the call forwarding your phone company already offers, and only for calls that would have been missed.

What does the audit cost?

Nothing. The audit is free, with no obligation. You'll get a short, simple summary, plus a sample of what your homepage could look like, whether or not you ever work with me.

Do I have to sign anything?

Not for the audit. There's nothing to sign. If you decide you'd like help after that, I'll go over the terms with you in plain English before anything starts.

Who you'll work with

Hi, I'm Ian.

I spent about eight years as a strategy consultant helping Fortune 500 companies grow. Now I bring that same thinking to independent businesses around the Salt Lake Valley, where the results show up in your schedule and your bottom line. When I'm not working, you'll find me on a mountain bike trail, skiing at Alta, or on a river with a fly rod.

The best place to start is the free audit. I'll look at your Google listing, your website and your calls, and tell you what I'd fix first.
